Service Description

Luxury brands, corporate events, and private celebrations thrive on exclusivity and meaningful detail. One of the most memorable ways to elevate that experience is through live hot foiling & wood burning personalization—an interactive, hand-crafted art form that transforms simple materials into luxury keepsakes. At Letters from Elliott, I specialize in on-site hot foiling and wood burning using a professional heat tool and metallic foils. Each impression is applied by hand, adding gold, silver, or copper details to leather, paper, and wood. Guests watch their initials, names, or messages come to life in real time, creating an unforgettable connection between craftsmanship and experience. Live hot foiling uses heat and metallic foil to transfer designs onto materials like leather or paper, while wood burning (pyrography) etches lettering directly into wood for a natural, timeless finish. Unlike machine production, every mark is unique—imbued with human artistry and precision. This service is perfect for brand activations, corporate gifting, retail experiences, weddings, and private events, adding a personal, high-end touch that guests will remember. I bring a compact, elegant setup that integrates seamlessly into any venue. Each customization takes only a few minutes, offering a visual, shareable experience that naturally draws engagement and excitement. Ideal items for personalization include: • Leather goods (wallets, luggage tags, journals, keychains) • Paper goods (cards, stationery, gift packaging, ribbons) • Wooden keepsakes (ornaments, boxes, cutting boards, signage) As a professional calligrapher, engraver, and live artist based in Iowa and Chicago, I’ve collaborated with luxury brands, retailers, and corporate clients to bring meaningful personalization to their events. Each live hot foiling or wood burning activation by Letters from Elliott is more than an event service—it’s a curated artistic experience that merges craftsmanship, beauty, and emotion. Guests leave not only with a keepsake, but with a lasting impression of the brand and the moment they shared.

Cancellation Policy

To cancel or reschedule please give 24 hours notice. In the event of a last minute cancellation (less than 24 hours), Letters from Elliott will no longer be issuing refunds. Instead, you will have the opportunity to rebook for future class. This is to help limit the amount of last minute cancellations and no-shows to my events. Thanks for understanding.
